Donnybrook Station Works
Construction is underway to improve safety, access and comfort at Donnybrook Station.
What to be aware of
From Monday 27 May 2019 until early 2020
We are currently establishing a site compound, installing fencing and relocating services at the station.
Night works will take place from Monday 3 to Friday 14 June between 11.00pm and 5.30am, with 24-hour works scheduled for Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June.
During night works there will be machinery and additional lighting in the rail corridor.
Trucks, light vehicles, workers and machinery will be operating on Springs Road and in the rail corridor.
There will be some noise and dust from machinery. Where necessary water carts will be used for dust suppression.
Works will include minor tree and vegetation removal within the rail corridor and near the station. We have ensured our design minimises tree and vegetation removal where possible.
Access to private properties and businesses will be maintained at all times.

We will work to minimise disruptions to local residents and station users as much as possible.
There will be temporary changes to traffic conditions in the station precinct and on Springs Road to allow for delivery of
Traffic management such as speed restrictions and traffic controllers may be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and station users.
Pedestrian, vehicle and cyclist access to the station will remain in place at all times.
Why the works are important
The works will upgrade the station, including a new car park with 150 spaces, new platform shelters, new bus bays, improved access for cars, pedestrians and buses, and an extension of the city-bound platform.
